Dogs Rule!*

Wylie Wagg a pet supply chain located in Northern Virginia dedicated to promoting health and well-being of dogs and cats wanted to start a store brand of pet treats.

I worked with Wylie Wagg to create playful illustrated labels based around outdoor play with a stylized "Wylie" dog from their logo. We are now in the process of building out the iconography and design for store window and interior signage.

*and I guess cats too.

Allison is 30!

After your 21st, 30 is the next big milestone of your adult life. Out goes the bars, late nights, and lack of money, in comes the dinner parties, mortgage, and NPR.

My friend Allison turned 30 on Feb. 21. To celebrate this most momentous occasion a book was created to highlight this milestone. The book is a collection of stories, memories, notes, and best wishes from family and friends.

Braille Stamps

We take our sight for granted. Blindness and visually impairment can affect all of us. It can be found in every ethnic, race, and age group. There are approximately 10 to 11 million blind and visually impaired people in North America today.

The purpose of this series of stamps is two-fold; first to allow blind persons to take advantage of the US Postal Service more easily, and second, to provide a venue, however small, for exposing to the public what it is like to be blind. The stamps use the Braille dot pattern for the overall design. Color is used to affect the Braille dot pattern in each stamp. Starting with the first and most readable stamp, color is changed till it is almost impossible to read the USA 37 on fifth and final stamp. By this use of color the public is exposed to what it is like to be blind. Also integrated and embossed into each stamp are the Braille dots that spell out USA 37 so that the blind may easily use them to send items through the mail.
